Easyship categorizes courier tracking into five levels, so you can gauge the reliability and detail of tracking during transit.
Excellent |
Comprehensive tracking that covers every step of the shipping process, from pick-up to final delivery. You'll receive detailed updates at every milestone, significantly reducing the chances of loss or delay. Couriers like UPS, FedEx, and DHL Express offer this level of service. |
Regular |
This provides door-to-door tracking with updates at key milestones, such as when the parcel is picked up, in transit, or delivered. It’s the most common type of tracking offered by regular couriers like TNT, Aramex, SF Express, and Asendia. |
Basic |
Basic tracking offers minimal updates, typically only at the start (when the parcel is picked up or dropped off) and the end (when it arrives at its destination). You won’t receive information during transit, and neither the courier nor Easyship can provide additional updates between these points. Examples include APC and RRD. |
Limited |
Tracking is partial and often stops before the parcel reaches its final destination. This means you might not know when the package was dispatched to the destination country or when it was delivered. Last updates may occur at customs, and these services often lack liability coverage. Examples include USPS, DHL eCommerce, and Flat Export. |
No tracking | No updates or tracking number will be provided for the shipment's journey. There is no investigation or claims process available if the parcel doesn’t arrive. |
