How to Generate a USPS Manifest

Say goodbye to individual package scanning! Easyship creates a shipment manifest for all your USPS shipments, featuring a single barcode that USPS can scan to process all your packages at once, saving you valuable time.

Steps to Generate a USPS Manifest

1. On the Easyship Dashboard, navigate to Manage Shipments. Select the shipments you wish to manifest.

2. In the top left-hand corner, click Bulk Actions > Generate manifest.

3. Select the Courier Account as USPS.

A handover date will be pre-selected for the same day. You can still hand it over to USPS on the following days. Any USPS Manifest must be manually generated by 11pm within the same day as the labels are generated.

4. Click the + Manifest button.

Key Information

  • Automatic Sorting: Easyship automatically sorts your shipments by creating separate manifests based on the sender's zip code, ensuring smooth processing by USPS.

  • Multiple Locations: If you have multiple pickup locations, you can easily generate additional manifests for each one.

  • Same-Day Creation: Manifests must be generated on the same day the shipments are created. This manifest can include labels you're created on the same day or labels scheduled for pick-up within the next five business days.

    For example:
If you create labels on July 3rd with a pickup handover date of July 8th, you must generate the manifest on July 3rd. The pre-selected handover date will be July 8th. You cannot generate the manifest for these labels after July 3rd.

  • Deadline: All manifests must be created before 11 pm EST.
