Amazon order insights now visible in Easyship
Amazon data will now appear in the Create Shipments table and Shipment panel, including:
- Order date
- Ship By date
- Deliver By date
- Business order indicator or Prime order indicator
- Commercial address indicator
- PO number (Amazon Business only)
You can also:
- Filter by Business Orders only
- Filter by Commercial Addresses only
- Sort by Ship By or Deliver By
- Hide the column if preferred
Ship Date (Paid Plans Only)
The Ship Date helps you plan when a shipment will leave your facility and is used to calculate Estimated Delivery Dates.
How it works:
- Defaults to Today
- Auto-changes to Tomorrow if:
- After 3 PM for next-day delivery services
- After 9 PM for 2-day+ delivery services
- Cannot be backdated (past dates will reset to Today)
- Can be edited in the Shipment panel (calendar selector)
Note: Ship Date will later be added to the Manage Shipments view.
Amazon Commitment (Paid Plans Only)
Easyship compares: Amazon’s “Deliver By” date against Courier Estimated Delivery Date (EDD). Couriers are flagged as:
Label |
Meaning |
| Meets Amazon Commitment | On time within Amazon’s required delivery window |
| Doesn’t meet Amazon Commitment | Delivery may be late or violate business delivery rules |
Estimated Delivery Dates - EDD (Paid Plans Only)
You will now see actual delivery dates instead of generic “2–3 business days.”
EDD takes into account:
- Your selected Ship Date
- Courier transit time
- Weekends and delivery rules
Note: EDD will be expanded later in 2025 to all eligible shipments, not only Amazon orders.
Courier filtering by Amazon compliance (Paid Plans Only)
By default, Easyship will:
- Hide couriers that cannot meet Amazon Deliver By requirements
- Show a warning if weekend or commercial delivery rules may be violated
Note: You can toggle this filter OFF if you want to view all courier options.
PO Numbers (All Plans)
For Amazon Business orders:
- PO numbers are automatically imported
- Field is read-only
- Prints automatically on supported labels
For Non-Amazon orders:
- PO field can be manually entered (optional)
Supported carriers:
- UPS
- USPS
- FedEx
Business & Commercial Delivery Rules (All Plans)
Easyship will now:
- Identify Amazon Business orders
- Flag Commercial addresses
- Show delivery notes provided by Amazon, including:
- Business operating hours
- Holiday closures
- Special delivery instructions
- Weekend delivery advisories
Residential address auto-toggle
When an address is flagged as Commercial, Easyship will automatically:
- Turn Residential Address → OFF
- Display a label showing the auto-update

FAQs
Which plans include Amazon delivery compliance features?
Features like Ship Date, Estimated Delivery Dates, and Amazon Commitment tracking require a paid Easyship plan. However, PO number support and business address detection are available on all plans.
What is the Ship Date used for?
Ship Date tells the system when your package will be handed to the carrier. It’s used to calculate accurate EDDs and validate Amazon commitment deadlines.
Can I backdate the Ship Date?
No. If a past date is entered, it will automatically reset to Today.
Why does my Ship Date automatically change to Tomorrow?
To protect your delivery performance, Ship Date will roll forward to tomorrow if:
- It’s after 3:00 PM for next-day services
- It’s after 9:00 PM for 2-day+ services
What does “Meets Amazon Commitment” mean?
It means the courier’s estimated delivery falls on or before Amazon’s required Deliver-By date.
What if a courier does NOT meet Amazon’s delivery commitment?
- It will display a warning
- It is hidden by default
- You may toggle compliance filtering OFF to see all couriers
Are Estimated Delivery Dates guaranteed?
No. EDD is an estimate based on carrier transit times, ship date, and delivery rules.
How does Easyship handle weekend and commercial delivery rules?
Easyship checks:
- Whether the address is commercial
- Business hours and closures
- Weekend delivery restrictions
Warnings will appear for any rule violations.
Will PO numbers always appear on labels?
Yes, if the PO comes from Amazon and the carrier supports PO printing (UPS, USPS, FedEx).
Can I edit an Amazon Business PO number?
No. This field is read-only for Amazon orders. For non-Amazon shipments, you may enter a PO manually.
Can I view all couriers even if they don’t meet Amazon commitments?
Yes. Toggle OFF the “Amazon compliance” filter to see full courier options.
Do these features work for non-Amazon orders?
Some features (like Ship Date, EDD, PO field, and business address detection) will expand to non-Amazon orders later in 2025. Amazon Commitment tracking applies only to Amazon orders.
How do I pay for Amazon Buy Shipping labels in Easyship?
All Buy Shipping labels purchased through Easyship are billed directly through Amazon.
Payment flows through your Amazon Seller Central account, not Easyship. You will not see Buy Shipping label fees on your Easyship invoice.
