What is Checkout?
Checkout allow you to display shipping options to your customers in real time as they checkout.
Before We Get Started
In order to enable Checkout for WooCommerce, you will first need to have the following ready:
- Link your WooCommerce store with Easyship
- An Easyship token, key, and secret which can be generated from your WooCommerce connect store page. You can find this information in the section titled "Generating Your Checkout Credentials" below
Should you already have this information, then please skip ahead to the section titled "Install Checkout On Your WooCommerce Platform".
Generating Your Checkout Credentials
To generate your Checkout credentials, first go to your WooCommerce store page. Then click the Enable button in the Checkout section, and afterwards click on the Generate Token button to create the keys you will need (as shown below).
Copy and paste these keys somewhere for use later.
Install Checkout On Your WooCommerce Platform
First, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu, and click "Add New".
In the search field, type Easyship Woocommerce Shipping Rates and click "Search Plugins". Once you’ve found our plugin you can install it by clicking “Install Now”.
After the installation is complete, in the WooCommerce Setting page, go to the "Shipping" tab, and choose "Easyship Shipping".
The plugin should be enabled by default after activation. Enter your API Key and API Secret in the corresponding fields. Select your shipping settings, uncheck Sandbox mode, and click Save. You should now have Checkout enabled in your store!
