How to Customize Your Shipment Tracking Email
Navigate to the 'Settings' section on the left-hand column of the Easyship Dashboard and click 'Customer Emails'.
You will be presented with the following options:
Make sure that you have enabled 'Send tracking emails to my customers'.
Please note that if you are using Shopify, emails to track shipments are sent by default from Shopify.
Make sure you are not activating this feature without disabling the feature on your eCommerce platform as your customers would receive duplicate emails!
You can choose to show your logo or company name at the top of your shipment tracking email. For instructions on how to upload your logo into your Easyship Dashboard, please refer to this article.
Show Contact Information
You can choose to show your company contact page and/or links to your social media accounts. For instructions on how to add your social media accounts to your Easyship Dashboard, please refer to this article.
Choose if you would like the name of the sender to be shown in your shipment tracking email. Note that the sender's name will always be your company name.
You can choose the amount of time you would like to elapse before the email is sent to your customer. If you are using one of Easyship's partner warehouses, you will see an additional option to send the email notification based on when the warehouse hands over the shipment or within 24 hours, whichever occurs first.
Display Advertising: Here you can choose to display an advertisement image to your customer along with a "call to action button" that can link to a URL related to your advertisement.
Footer: Here you can add any additional details that you would like to share with your customer.
Rating Email: At the very bottom of the page, you will see an option to send a short survey to your customer. This survey will be sent only once a shipment has been delivered and will ask your customer to rate the courier's performance. This helps Easyship display accurate information on the courier comparison pages.
Simply click on the blue icon to enable this feature. You can also view an example by clicking on the link titled 'View your Rating Email'.
Double-check that your selections and information are accurate and click the 'Save' button.
