Shopify: Installing Rates at Checkout

When setting up Easyship Rates in your Shopify store, there are some settings that need to be added.

Provided that you have 3rd Party Calculated Rates enabled on your Shopify store and connected your Easyship account with your store.

You will also need to add Easyship to your Shipping Zones.

When logged into Shopify, at the bottom left you to have Settings, please click it. Once in settings, you go to SHIPPING. Then proceed to click "Manage Rates".

In the below example, we have domestic and international zones with no rates enabled. None of these zones have any rates, but if your zones have previously added Shopify shipping or flat rates, we suggest deleting them. Then proceed to click 'Add rate'.

Once here, you should be able to select Easyship (Rates provided by the app) if everything has been correctly installed and you have 3rd Party Calculated rates enabled by Shopify. By Clicking "Automatically show new shipping services to customers when they become available" you are allowing Easyship to show more services than the ones which are ticked. So if our algorithm finds a better rate for the 'cheapest, fastest and best value' options, it will be displayed.

Highly recommended: Select 'Allow Future Services' to ensure you offer your customers the full range of services as Easyship continues to expand the selection on the platform. If you ever wish to limit certain courier offerings, the recommended way is to do this using Shipping Rules.

Note that you can also mark up prices to account for handling/processing fees by a certain percentage or a flat amount. Once selected and additional options have been set to your liking, press 'Done' and the Easyship rates should now be visible in the shipping zones page (see below).

In the above selection, we now can see that we have Easyship rates provided to the 'Rest of the World' as well as the 'US'. Don't forget to save these changes!
