Couriers may charge an additional residential area surcharge, depending on the destination address.
The information regarding the residential surcharge is made available in your dashboard when selecting the courier:
Using Fedex as an example, if the shipment being delivered cant be received by a doorman, and does not require the delivery driver having to travel a flight of stairs to your door. The residential area surcharge might not be applied to your shipment.
Another Courier that may include the residential area surcharge is SF Express. The residential area surcharge will only be applied if the delivery is made to a residential building.
The fees for Residential Area Surcharges are enforced by the delivery driver themselves
