Depending on the type of refund, receiving the credit back to your account can be immediate or in other cases, take a little longer;
If you cancel a label that has not been generated (rejected or pending), the paid amount is immediately credited back to your Easyship account.
If you cancel an order for which a label has been already generated, the paid amount will be credited back to your Easyship account within 10 business days.
If you wish to be refunded back to your method of payment, you can now do this manually through the dashboard, see our article here. The paid amount will be credited back to your bank account within 5 business days. This means that:
- If the label has never been generated, it will take approximately 5 business days for the paid amount to be credited back to your method of payment
- If the label has been generated, it will take 10 + 5 business days = 15 business days for the paid amount to be refunded to your method of payment
Note: If the shipment has been lost or damaged, before we can proceed and refund you the courier first needs to accept the claim that we have filed on your behalf. It can take up to 90 days for couriers to complete their investigations and accept a claim. So in case of lost or damaged shipments, the refund timings mentioned above start from when the claim was accepted by the courier.
