Remote Area Surcharge Explained

A Remote Area Surcharge is an additional fee applied by couriers for shipments made to and from locations that the courier deems to be in remote areas.

Couriers will consider a location to be remote if it is far from their regular pick-up or delivery path.

This means that if the courier does not have a depot near the pickup or delivery address your shipment may be subject to a remote area surcharge.

These are fees applied by the courier and they will show up as adjustment charges on your Easyship account
