This article explains how to connect an existing Evri business account to Easyship using the Link Your Own Courier (LYOC) feature. This integration is available to UK-based merchants who have a direct Evri business account with pre-negotiated rates.
Overview
The Evri LYOC integration lets you manage your Evri shipments inside Easyship without giving up the rates you've already negotiated with Evri directly. Once connected, you can generate labels, apply shipping rules, and track orders — all from your Easyship dashboard.
Important: Unlike other LYOC integrations, your Evri account will not activate immediately after connecting. Because Evri does not support automatic rate syncing, the Easyship team must configure your rate cards manually. This typically takes 3–5 business days. You will not be able to purchase labels until your account is confirmed as active.
Before You Start
Make sure you have the following ready before connecting:
- An active Evri business account with pre-negotiated rates already in place
- Your Evri username and password (provided by your Evri account manager — no spaces)
- Your Evri Client ID and Client Name
- Your rate card details (pricing per service, weight band, and zone) — your Evri account manager can provide these if you don't have them to hand
Note: If you don't yet have a direct Evri business account, you'll need to register with Evri first before proceeding.
How to Connect Your Evri Account
Step 1: Go to Courier Settings
- Log in to your Easyship account.
- In the left-hand navigation, go to Integrations > Couriers.
- Click + Add Courier (or the equivalent button to connect a new courier account).
Step 2: Select Evri
- In the Connect your courier modal, select United Kingdom from the Country dropdown.
- Select Evri from the list of available couriers.
Step 3: Enter Your Evri Credentials
- Give your account a name in the Account Name field. This is used to identify the account within Easyship.
- Enter your Evri Username and Evri Password.
- Enter your Evri Client ID and Evri Client Name.
- Click Connect.
Credential tip: Use your Evri username and password exactly as provided by your account manager. Do not include spaces as these will cause the connection to fail.
Step 4: Confirmation
Once submitted, you'll see a confirmation message:
"We've received your Evri account information. Your Evri account has been connected. To start shipping, our support team will reach out to set up your rate cards. This typically takes 3–5 business days."
Your account is now in a Pending state. The Easyship team will contact you to confirm your account details and collect your rate card information.
What Happens Next
After you connect, the Easyship team handles the remaining setup on your behalf:
- Easyship contacts you — Our support team will reach out to confirm your Evri account details and request your rate card (pricing per service, weight band, and destination zone).
- Rate cards are configured — Your rate card is passed to our Pricing team, who set it up in the system.
- Your account is activated — Once your rate cards are live, your account status changes from Pending to Active.
- You receive confirmation — Easyship will notify you when your account is active and ready to use.

Once Your Account Is Active
With your Evri account connected and active, you can:
- Use your own negotiated Evri rates — Your rates appear directly in Easyship when comparing options or creating a shipment. No need to cross-reference a separate Evri portal.
- Generate labels and manage shipments — Create Evri labels and manage your fulfilment workflow without leaving Easyship.
- Apply automation rules — Use Easyship's shipping rules to auto-select Evri based on criteria like order weight, destination, or sales channel. Go to Automation > Shipping Rules to configure.
- Track all Evri orders in one place — Evri tracking data feeds into Easyship's unified tracking dashboard alongside any other carriers you use.
FAQs
Why is my Evri account showing as Pending after I connect?
Evri does not support automatic rate syncing, so your rates must be set up manually by the Easyship team. Your account will remain in Pending status until your rate cards have been configured and confirmed. This typically takes 3–5 business days.
What credentials do I need to connect my Evri account?
You'll need your Evri username, password, Client ID, and Client Name. These are provided by your Evri account manager. If you don't have them, contact Evri directly before attempting to connect.
Will connecting my Evri account affect Easyship's discounted Evri rates?
Yes. By connecting your own Evri account, you will no longer be eligible to use Easyship's pre-negotiated Evri rates for that account. Your own rates will be used instead. You can still access Easyship's rates via a separate (unlinked) carrier option if needed.
What if I don't have my rate card?

Yes. Once your account is active, Easyship's shipping rules work with your Evri account just like any other carrier. You can set rules to automatically select Evri based on weight, destination, postcode, or sales channel.
How will I know when my account is active?
Easyship support will send you a confirmation once your rate cards are configured and your account status has been updated to Active. You'll then be able to purchase Evri labels immediately.
