How to Connect Your UniUni Account on Easyship

This article covers UniUni shipping on Easyship — including ready-to-use reselling rates and how to link your own negotiated UniUni account (LYOC) for the US and Canada.

Overview

UniUni is available on Easyship in two ways:

  • Reselling — Easyship's own discounted UniUni rates, available by default with no setup required.
  • LYOC (Link Your Own Carrier) — for merchants with an existing UniUni account who want to use their own negotiated rates instead.

Both options let you get UniUni quotes alongside other couriers, generate and print labels, track shipments, and cancel shipments directly from Easyship.

Note: UniUni is an affordable domestic courier focused on city coverage — it doesn't deliver nationwide across the US or Canada. Enter a zip code in the app to check whether UniUni supports a specific delivery address before booking.

Note: Connecting your own UniUni account through LYOC means you'll use your negotiated rates instead of Easyship's discounted reselling rates.

Before You Start

To connect your own UniUni account via LYOC, you'll need:

  • An active UniUni account
  • Your UniUni Client ID and UniUni Client Secret
  • Your UniUni Customer Number

If you don't have these details, contact your UniUni account manager.

How to Connect Your Own UniUni Account (LYOC)

  1. Log in to your Easyship account
  2. Go to Couriers in the sidebar
  3. Click Add new courier
  4. Select the country your UniUni account is registered in (e.g. United States)
  5. Select UniUni from the courier list

  6. Enter your UniUni details:
    • Account Name — a label to identify this account in Easyship
    • UniUni Customer Number
    • UniUni Client ID
    • UniUni Client Secret

Note: Enter your credentials exactly as provided — do not include any spaces, as this will cause the connection to fail. Contact your UniUni account manager if you need your credentials.

  1. Click Connect

Once connected, you'll see a confirmation screen.

Important: After connecting, go to Settings to set up your pickup and DDP handling fees. This ensures your rates display accurately.

Managing Your Connected UniUni Account

Once connected, you can manage your account from the Couriers page:

  1. Go to Couriers
  2. Select your connected UniUni account from the list
  3. Under Account, you can view your account name (the UniUni Customer Number cannot be edited after connection)
  4. Expand Settings or Services to review your configuration
  5. Use Rules to automate and customize your shipping preferences
  6. To disconnect, click Delete

Note: Deleting your connected UniUni account removes your LYOC connection, but you can still ship with UniUni using Easyship's discounted reselling rates.

  • UniUni Standard – US (eFul only)
  • UniUni Standard – Canada
  • UniUni Standard – LYOC, US & Canada

Coverage: UniUni doesn't cover every US or Canadian zip code. Check coverage for a specific address by entering the zip code when getting a quote. You can also use a Shipping Rule to automatically include or exclude UniUni based on delivery zip code, so it only appears as an option where it's supported.

Do I need to connect my own account to use UniUni?

No. UniUni reselling rates are available by default. Connecting your own account (LYOC) is only needed if you want to use your own negotiated rates.

What's the difference between UniUni reselling and LYOC?

Reselling uses Easyship's discounted UniUni rates. LYOC uses your own negotiated UniUni rates, requiring your own account credentials.

Does UniUni deliver nationwide?

No. UniUni is a domestic courier focused on city coverage rather than full nationwide delivery. Enter the delivery zip code when getting a quote to check whether UniUni supports that address. You can also set up a Shipping Rule to control when UniUni is offered based on zip code.

Why can't I edit my UniUni Customer Number after connecting?

Once your account is connected, the Customer Number field is locked. If it needs to change, disconnect and reconnect your account with the correct details.

How is UniUni tracking handled?

UniUni shipments are tracked end-to-end through AfterShip-powered tracking updates.

Can I cancel a UniUni shipment after booking?

Yes, UniUni shipments can be cancelled directly from Easyship when plans change.

Is UniUni Standard – US available for all fulfillment types?

No, UniUni Standard for the US is currently available for eFul shipments only.
