Saving your box sizes in Easyship will ensure that you are always reporting the correct box dimensions for your shipments. This is a great tool to help automate your shipping process as you will no longer need to manually input dimensions when you create shipments and your customers will see an accurate rate at checkout. In this article, we will show you how to configure your saved box sizes.

Easyship uses your product dimensions to determine the box size that your shipment will be packed in. With Auto Selection turned on Easyship will use your Saved Boxes to determine the correct box based on the number of products in the order and return a rate that reflects the total weight and/or box size that will be used for the shipment. Remember to turn Auto Selection OFF if a box type is temporarily unavailable or you don't want Easyship to automatically select it for you.
Add a New Shipping Box
To add your saved boxes sizes into Easyship navigate to the 'Settings>Boxes' section on the left-hand column of your Easyship Dashboard.
Click on the 'Add new box' icon.
Enter in the box name, dimensions and weight of your box. Note that the dimensions refer to the outer dimensions of your box and will be used to calculate the shipping rates.
When you are happy with your selections, select the 'Submit' button.
Repeat this process for as many boxes as you would like to save into Easyship.
Flat Rate Boxes
If you are using USPS flat rate shipping options you can also assign these boxes for auto-selection.
Click on the USPS icon to show all the available box sizes.
Select which boxes you would like to assign for auto-selection.
When you are happy with your selections select the 'save' button in the bottom right corner.
Edit/Delete Shipping Box
You can edit your saved boxes simply by selecting the box you would like to edit. You can change the weight, toggle auto-selection, and delete.
Note that you are not able to edit the dimensions of a saved box, nor are you able to edit the default flat-rate boxes.
