Tagging Your Shipments

In order to keep track of all your Shipments and to arrange them how you see fit, we have introduced a Tags feature to our platform.

In this article, we will show you how to do this and also provide details on how Shopify users can make the most of this feature, as well as how this can be used via Shipping Rules.

Step 1.

Go into Create Shipments: Advanced

Choose a Shipment and select EDIT ORDER

Step 2.

Go to Tags and then type in your Tag and select Enter/Return or choose from your own 'unassigned tags'

Click on the x to unassign the Tag from the Shipment if you no longer wish to Tag it. When you're all done, make sure you SAVE to assign the Tags to the Shipment:

Step 3.

You can also use our Advanced Search filters to search via your Tags:

Step 3.

Once you ship, you can see in your Dashboard, the Tags icon and when you hover over it with your cursor, you can see the Tags associated with this shipment:

You can also see the Tags in the Shipment Details section

Here, you can also Edit Tags from the Shipment, adding further or removing as you wish.

Tagging with Shopify

If your account is set up via a Shopify Store integration, you can use the Tags feature to help you automate further:

You can now Exclude orders by Tag, i.e. if you do not want this order to be synced into Easyship from your Shopify store, you can Tag it with the correct label and this will be done automatically:

You can also create new Tags in this section of the dashboard as you need to create the Tags in advance before an Order is Synced.

We will also auto-sync your Tags from Shopify to your Easyship dashboard so you will be good to go.

Shipping Rules

You can also use your Tags to automate via Shipping Rules:

For example if you wanted to all orders with a certain Tag to have Insurance added, you can select 'Order tag is', select the relevant Tag and set up from here:

Once you Save you will be able to see this in your Active Shipping Rules:
