Delivery Time
Sort your shipping options from the fastest to the slowest by clicking the arrow next to the "Delivery Time" column. It’s important to note that these are not guaranteed delivery times provided by the courier but are estimates based on Easyship's internal data.
Example: A courier with an expected delivery time of 1 working day means 90% of parcels historically delivered by this courier arrive within one working day.
Note that delivery lead times are only estimations and do not account for potential delays in transit, weekends, or holidays.
Tracking
Tracking quality is rated from Excellent to No tracking. Tracking Rating closely ties into reliability, and we suggest choosing a service that matches customer expectations. Lower-priced services correlate to lower tracking ratings.
Excellent: Excellent tracking covers all the steps of transit (from pickup to arrival/departure at customs to the delivery at the final destination), allowing you to closely monitor your parcel while reducing the risk of loss or return.
Regular: Door-to-door tracking covers major milestones or events along the way whenever the parcel is scanned. It is the most common type of tracking available with regular shipping services.
Basic: Much less detailed than Regular tracking. Please expect to be notified of only two events: the departure of your parcel (usually a notice that it's been picked up or dropped off) and the arrival. You will not receive any updates on your parcel while it is in transit. With basic tracking, neither the Courier nor can Easyship provide additional information between scans. Please raise an insurance claim if a shipment has passed ten business days from the expected delivery date without an update.
Limited: Refers to services that register a few tracking events during transit. Coverage ends before the shipment has been handed over to the destination service for the final mile delivery, meaning that the last tracking event could be the arrival at customs. It may not tell you when the package was dispatched to the destination country or what day and time it was delivered to the destination address. Please file an insurance claim if a shipment has passed ten working days over the expected delivery date. Very few couriers with limited tracking provide liability or insurance for lost parcels.
No tracking: You will not receive any tracking number or updates on your parcel's journey. For No tracking, no investigation or claim can be made in case the shipment does not arrive within the expected delivery time.
Rating
Sort your shipping options by a rating based on the experience of consignees who have received shipments created by Easyship users.
In Settings > Customer Emails on the Easyship Dashboard, you can allow Easyship to send a short survey to your recipients once a delivery has been made. The configuration can be located at the bottom of the page.
Handover Service Options
This section displays the different service options available for handing your parcel to the Courier.
You can see the following handover options for each courier:
- Paid Pickup: The courier picks up the parcel from your location, with an additional charge.
- Free Pickup: Pickup is offered without any additional charges.
- Drop Off: You drop the parcel at an approved courier location.
Note: You cannot sort by handover options.
Total Cost
You can sort shipping options based on the total cost displayed, which includes all the fees associated with the shipment.
Remarks
Here we will show some added remarks that are essential to note. For example, if the Courier does not provide any delivery status update or if pickups can't be scheduled on a particular day due to a holiday. Note that you are not able to sort on Remarks.
Tax & Duty
For international shipments, you can choose whether taxes & Duties are paid by the sender or recipient. If you choose to pre-pay, Easyship guarantees there will be no hidden charges, provided the shipment has been declared correctly. If you choose to have the recipient pay, Easyship will estimate the costs, though actual amounts may vary.
